Pictured Above German WWII Luftwaffe Forestry Bayonet with Frog
Luftwaffe Forstbeamte Seitengewehr

Only a branch of  non military Luftwaffe Forestry officers wore  these from their green  “Air force” cut  uniform.

These ” bayonets” are 34.5 centimeters long with a polished steel blade of 20 cm . The blades are marked  “Waffen-Loesche / Berlin” on the reverse ricasso. On the obverse the blade is stamped “Ch.A.W” .

three nickel-silver screw bolts secure the Stag antler grips.

They are contained in a painted steel scabbard.
