Hope this will be of interest to this group. 1944 dated British airborne helmet, nicely named twice and came with its stores label from R squadron S.A.S . The helmet has its original WW2 brown textured paint. The net was added by myself. One of the names on the helmet is Capt. Oliver DANSIE, M.B. (429077), from Reg.
Army Nat. Serv. List to be Capt., 16th July 1955, with seniority 22nd June 1954. made 80 jumps and served mainly in Sinai.

Model 1936 Chained SS Dagger with Dedication
The grip is solid with very minor dings and a small hairline crack near the crossguard on one side. The Eagle and SS roundel retain 100% of their original detail.
The cross guards are the nickel-plated type, and in good condition. The scabbard is the painted type, with 99% of its original paint, and only modest scratches and no chips. The fittings have a nice age patina that match the grip guards, and are without noteworthy flaws. …
